This is not about ranking the dead. My mother’s life is not worth more because she was murdered on a farm. No murder in this country is acceptable, and no political ideology justifies taking a life.

It is my prediction that reactions to the White Cross Project will indeed confirm again what you said about the effects of dehumanising people in the ways you mentioned, mostly on account of those in power, who can work against it, but who are not doing so. They either do it by default or are even actively encouraging it. What a disgrace, but how immensely sad at the same time.

The pressure the USA is applying is good and I hope they follow through, as a country we are capable of so much more and it would be great if we could make the necessary changes.
