(And should never have been in place in my opinion - that was the DA's mistake). This is what responsible govts do. We are so used to the shambles of the last 34 years we have lost the ability to interpret behaviours and situations rationally anymore 🤔🤔🤔
Agreed. It was the right decision and isn't that dramatic. I have very high standards, so would have preferred something a bit harsher. But to save face, this was likely the best strategy.
I think Steenhuisen would have been better in the ministry he has been transferred to from the get go. But Cyril I suspect refused to give the DA that one.
I agree. For the most part, the DA got the shorter end of the stick on appointments. I wish they'd fought harder for Policing, or any of the other central pillar ministries. At least Schreiber is doing good things at DHA.
