I dont think he turned on him. He assessed the situation. Realised Steenhuisen was out of his depth and adjusted accordingly. Precisely because the conflict of interest was out of the way. (And should never have been in place in my opinion - that was the DA's mistake). This is what responsible govts do. We are so used to the shambles of the last 34 years we have lost the ability to interpret behaviours and situations rationally anymore 🤔🤔🤔
