Think of higher education. We have many poorly performing universities. Most of them are going from bad to terrible. Yet the state rather tried its best to change some well-functioning ones by means of especially language policy. Not build more universities, but rather “cannibalise” existing ones. With more than 30 years experience in the State Health Sector I can assure you, the State is completely incapable of running the Healthcare System. They infact, destroyed it. And if you could’nt run the current system, (proved incompetence for 30 years) prevent endemic nepotism, corruption, killing of whistleblowers and ensure accountability, how do you justify taking private Healthcare funds to prop up NHI. Besides that, the Country cannot afford it. Our shrinking tax base is simply too small, and until the Healthcare Mafia, is held accountable, nothing can come of it.
