Africa has to decide what the best way is to uplift all Africans. People are people, they all want some form of security and well being. The ballot box of history has been too much about rejecting their colonial past and too much about freedom. Poverty is worse than freedom, the more economically successful a nation is, the better off they are, no accident, no philosophy just leadership needed, the people will do the rest….
At this stage I don't think it will just happen, even if every African country was democratic. We need African "leaders" to be led, either from outside or from within the continent. I prefer the latter but I am convinced that we will get the former if Africans don't wake up.
We need new leaders to emerge, who are non-racial, with a business background, a track record of business success and failures, we may never see the day of all Africa being great, but I believe we will see some, it’s all about demography and leadership….
Africa’s future is tied to competence. ….
This is so true, I would only add realistic economics. There's a lot to be done to get where we want to go.
