By definition, AA and BEE — because they promote less qualified — make companies and the state LESS efficient and productive; even ignoring the question of corruption and cover-ups.

This harms those they should be benefitting the most, by reducing these entities' ability to deliver.

Irrational article by "Rational Standard". First of all South Africa was found guilty of something it was not actually guilty of - I would invite the author to go an read the actual wording of the UN resolution. Secondly, South Africa always had natural separation between its nations before all those nations were FORCEFULLY integrated into a union in 1910. Natural separation existed BEFORE forced integration. In 1994 the forced integration was reinforced through "democracy" (another fallacy). Of course the only way to prop up the failing and collapsing South Africa under the forced integration model is to perpetuate the lie that South Africa "was always one country" and omitting the forced integration part. Well, the experimentation has failed utterly and revisionism won't cover that up for much longer considering hat the entire Western World embraced the same model and the entire West is now in decline as well.

If the Apartheid government and pre-Apartheid governments didn't force racial discrimination and separation onto the people of the region, we wouldn't be in this mess. Race has no part in policy - past or present.

There is all the difference in the world between having separate countries, and actively discriminating against race groups. Apartheid was active racial discrimination and to argue otherwise is foolish insanity.

Also, it isn't really separate nations when the Apartheid government actively governed the bantustans with an iron-fist - including controlling liquor monopolies within the bantustans.

There is active racial discrimination in numerous/multiple loads of countries in the world, but they don’t have (crimes against humanity) resolutions against them. South Africa is presently in breach of that very resolution - as I said - go look at the wording, yet the entire world has zero interest.

The anti-apartheid movement was in reality the anti-Afrikaner movement because even though there is apartheid in other countries today it simply “doesn’t count or matter. The ANC and the D.A. support a two state solution in the Middle East - two states are not one, i.e. two states are separate development (aka apartheid).

One could equally say that if “South Africa” (a region not a country in the usual/traditional sense) was not artificially created by the British after waging a resource war in the country and destroying the Boer Republics, the tribal naturally formed ‘homelands’ (before they were designated as such by later governments) and thereby depriving everybody of self-determination, we would not be in the mess we are today. South Africa (the Union) was created UNNATURALLY and ARTIFICIALLY in 1910. There is no way that all the tribes and nations would have chosen to integrate themselves into a unitary state - none at all. It could only have come about through external force. This was extended from 1994 until now again by external force (through pressure, sanctions, propaganda, revisionism, etc).

“South Africa” remains an unnatural phenomenon which is why it is not working. You are ideologically committed to it which is why you are unable to admit the experiment has failed dismally, meaning that everybody that brought it about and have have major egg on their face (to put it lightly).
