Not when Palestinian activists do it, not when anti-female murder activists do it (femicide), and not when Trump, Elon Musk or anti farm murder activists do it (white genocide). The Nakba is well documented as the Arab armies telling the Arab population in Israel/Mandate Palestine to evacuate so they could go in and exterminate the Jews.
The Arab armies failed to do that. Arabs who stayed alongside their Jewish neighbours are still there today. Arab Israelis. The Arabs who gleefully waited on the sidelines while a real genocide was attempted, did not return to their homes as they feared reprisals or were blocked by the Arab armies from doing so.

Yep, just as I thought, you just forget one very well know fact, history is written by the conquers. I know a lot of bad things happened on both sides but it still does not make anything happening today any more acceptable. Another problem is that the one person's "freedom fighter" is another one's terrorist of that our own ANC is an excellent example. I know you will have the one or other "documented" excuse for it all. You only believe in anything that had been investigated, so as long as there is some historian saying it is alright you have no problem with it. You do not believe in anecdotal evidence but sometimes that is the best information.

So, you cannot say that my reading of this history is incredibly skewed as many historians agree with me. On a lighter note, Yasser Arafat might just have done that😊On the other hand when anecdotal evidence comes from many different regions you can start to believe it. I know of a lot of anecdotal evidence, that people were ridiculed about, that turned out to be correct. In our history, from the first Anglo-Boer war on, lots of things turned out to be correct, as the anecdotal evidence about the concentration camps, were officially denied in England until the 2000's but that is a whole other story we cannot go in now.
