Evil & The Elites
Our overlords are perverse. Jeffrey Epstein was an evil man, but the beauty of the revelations beyond the horror of the perversity is that the curtain has been drawn back.

Jeffrey Epstein . Just a name, in fact quite an ordinary name. Yet today there is nothing ordinary about the man who seems to be at the centre of so much...evil. There are many evil characters from history, responsible for millions of deaths and suffering on a scale that is hard to imagine. Hitler, Stalin, Mao Tse Tung, Pol Phot...amongst others. Who remembers the victims? Too many to contemplate. They disappear into the vastness of millions of lives terminated or destroyed, for ideology.
In certain instances, there was justice - the Nuremberg Trials. Unprecedented, but necessary. Accountability and consequence that did not change history but sought to ensure that history was not repeated. A noble goal. But evil is eternal.
Power and control are human drives, no matter progressive notions of equality and rights. Someone always wants more. One group always seeks to dominate, to impose. There is always justification. There is always a cost, to someone. Sometimes the machinations are overt. Leaders emerge, people are stirred, forces are mobilized, change unfolds. Sometimes violently. There are winners and losers. We call it politics, and at some level it appears to be a game. A game played by certain people, professionals - like in any sport.
But whereas sport is to entertain the masses, politics controls them. Control and power. But who are these powerful people? We know who they are, mostly. But who are they, really? These elites who incestuously occupy the highest offices and spawn descendants who perpetuate the system of governance that amounts to a merger of elites that spans apparent political division.
The annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) that meets in beautiful Davos provides a platform to showcase who they are. Scratch the surface, and Epstein is there too . “ You will own nothing and be happy.” , “ The fourth industrial revolution “ - sound familiar? Of course, so oft repeated and quoted that either statement seems banal.
Exactly. But it’s happening and the way we live is changing. Globally. The allied and more secretive Bilderberg group that shares agendas with WEF, as well as attendees and members , and no doubt still operates behind the scenes provides further evidence of those who are the power behind the power .
But what of Jeffrey Epstein? It seems he knew many of them – the elites . One man with a special talent, but no significant education albeit possessing a gift for mathematics amongst other things. Yet he was seemingly selected and placed in positions of precocious responsibility as a young man that enabled this unknown to emerge, insert himself and create a web of sordid sex and intrigue that had them, the elites, all wanting to be part of.
A modern-day Svengali who pulled strings, connected dots and somehow became the sun for all the high-powered planets that constituted his created universe. He was a masterful creator, operating with skill and deftness as he blended the well-established bed fellows of sex, politics and power. A true influencer, with a strikingly narcissistic self-belief that was on full display in a recently released interview from 2019 where it was noted he was a registered sex offender. He had previously served 13 months in jail having “pleaded guilty in 2008 to two state sex-related state charges”.
A cunning and exploitative man with his side kick, Ghislane Maxwell. Trace her background . There are no coincidences, only connections. It seems she was his Madam, amongst other things .
Prostitution, or sex work, is standard fare at Davos. Exploitation, or simply transactional business that helps oil the wheels that turn societies and systems. Davos is more public. Epstein had an island . A playland for the rich and famous, with women on tap. Young ones. Very young ones.
The question one must ask - did all these men who strode the halls of power, both political and economic, these Titans…did they consider their actions and involvements acceptable? There are many questions. Were they entitled to what was provided? Were the women no more than the food or drink, simply another source of pleasure to be consumed whilst the business was conducted? Did they – the men - need to be there, or did they want to be there?
One can only assume they wanted to be there. This was their club. A private club for the privileged, the elite.” Absolute power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely ” comes to mind, capturing as it does the inverse relationship between increasing power and diminishing morality. In reflecting on Hannah Arendt’s oft quoted phrase “banality of evil” in relation to the Nazi war criminal Adolf Eichmann it was noted that “…evil is perpetuated when immoral principles become normalized over time by people who do not think about things from the standpoint of others.” . What would she say about Jeffrey Epstein and the elites who frequented the island he referred to as “Little St Jeff’s”?
And now, membership of this club has been revealed, and we see the members for who they are and what it reveals is most shocking. Evil is alive and well. Evil is the currency that underpins power.
Our overlords are perverse. Jeffrey Epstein was an evil man, but the beauty of the revelations beyond the horror of the perversity is that the curtain has been drawn back.
We see what we see. Nuremberg did not vanquish evil, albeit held certain evil people accountable for their deeds. This is captured in the movie of the same name where the despairing psychiatrist (Dr Douglas M. Kelley in real life, played by Rami Malek) on a radio broadcast paraphrases what Kelley had said in a lecture post the trial where he accurately warned against the naivety of assuming that the trials have dealt with evil . It would appear that those entrusted with shepherding humanity into a promised land of good, invoking the so-called post world war Rules-Based International Order , have been revealed to be nothing better than those who were put-on trial in Nuremberg - evil. This does not diminish the Holocaust, not forgetting the Ottomans and the Armenian Genocide decades earlier.
On the contrary, it reveals that indeed we seem to have learned nothing about the human condition. We have indeed been naive. Jeffrey Epstein’s intrigues are not some salacious content for what used to be housed on the back pages of the Sunday papers. Not at all. They are a wakeup call. There is a rotten core. Evil is alive and well, at the highest levels. The Nuremberg Trials were about justice not vengeance . The question is - what now?

The Epstein Saga always puzzled me: yes, the terrible exploitation of the very young that was exposed, was beyond disgusting. Yet, it was not something which is not taking place each and every day, almost everywhere in the world. We know about sex rings, sex slaves, and human trafficking, which all simply go on an on, endlessly. But now this article brought insight to me. The pure evil of the Saga transcends the horrible sexual exploitation. It exposed many of the rich, powerful and famous for their unchecked greed (in all respects!), and their clear belief that they account to nobody...
Your: "The question is - what now?". One would hope the likes of Tulsi Gabbard, DNI, and Kash Patel ,FBI, and Pam Bondi, DOD, and John Ratcliffe, CIA, will steer this in the morally correct version ... ? Grooming young girls for the pleasure of far older men must surely reach the instance where Trevor Watkins' Harm Consent Rule, the HCR, is violated and harm occurs without consent. Those instances need accountability. from a libertarian/individualist ethics and morality. Whenever the HCR coupled to the "Nature of Us", the NoU, is violated the instance of harm without consent can be identified. For the NoU see: https://thetaooffreedom.substack.com/p/the-nature-of-us-nou?utm_source=publication-search
